Surface Design II

Armed with a knowledge of dyes, resists, and discharge agents, students in Surface Design II will take their fabric to the next level! We’ll build upon what we learned in part I, and learn new dye, discharge and paint techniques, working one-on-one to create brilliant, beautiful cloth. Surface Design II is open to students continuing from part I, plus others with a good working knowledge of fiber-reactive dye techniques. Consent of instructor is required for enrollment. [NOTE: While the dyes and chemicals we work with are very safe, many women choose not to work with dyes during pregnancy, particularly during the first trimester. If you're pregnant or planning on it, consult with your doctor before enrolling.]

Prerequisite: Surface Design I Series.

Four (4) 4-hour classes in each series
$160 (With an additional $15 fee for materials provided in class, payable to the instructor in Class #1)
